Analysis

Peacock launched in July 2020 with a free tier and Premium ad-free at $9.99/month. It held that price for three years before raising Premium to $11.99 in July 2023, then to $12.99 in 2025. As of 2026, NBCUniversal has restructured: Peacock Premium (ad-free) is $10.99/mo and Peacock Plus (4K, more streams) is $16.99/mo.

Compared to Disney+ or Netflix, Peacock's ad-free tier has risen more modestly — about 10% from launch to 2026 — in part because the service has leaned into ad-supported tiers (Peacock Select with ads is $7.99) and bundling (e.g. Comcast StreamSaver with Netflix and Apple TV+).

For cord-cutters, Peacock remains one of the lower-cost options among the major streamers, especially if you're willing to watch with ads.
